LISA & CHRIS - MARRIED! | OKANAGAN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY by Lindsay Naito

After leaving Japan and before moving to Hong  Kong, I spent a month back "home" in Canada. While I was there, I had the privilege of shooting this beautiful wedding. It was a sun-soaked, loved-filled August day in Summerland, BC, and I'm so very glad that I got to be a part of it.

Wishing all the best to you, Lisa and Chris!

(I was also lucky enough to have the very talented Richard Giordano Photography with me that day. Check out his work here)

BECCA | JAPAN PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY by Lindsay Naito

A few weeks ago I did a little shoot with Becca at Fukui's very own Flat Kitchen. Although we weren't there for long, we had enough time to sip on some delicious drinks, enjoy the fantastic atmosphere, and take some super fun shots!

TOMOMI | JAPAN PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY by Lindsay Naito

We've had the pleasure of working with Tomomi on various projects for about a year now, but this was the first time We'd actually taken photos of her! Usually we're stuck indoors cooking and meticulously styling food shoots, so getting outside was definitely a nice change of pace.

For this shoot we strolled around Fukui's beautiful Yokokan Garden, showing off Tomomi's gorgeous kimono and enjoying the sunshine.

WAITING FOR HIKARI | JAPAN PORTRAIT & MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY by Lindsay Naito

Despite the fact that we've already taken countless photos of Iker, Kaori, and their son, Kai, shooting them never gets old. How could it when they always have so much love and so many smiles to give? On this particular day, we were tasked with capturing this little family of three as they were awaiting the arrival of their newest member. As always, it was a super fun shoot, and we now have more adorable photos of Kai than I know what to do with!!!

P.S. On April 15th, baby Hikari made her way into the world and joined this wonderful family. We couldn't be happier for them, and I can't wait to meet (and take pictures of) her!
